Three inspirational and innovative Queensland Women will be vying for the prestigious Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) Rural Women’s Award. Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries and Minister for Rural Economic Development, Bill Byrne today congratulated the three finalists. “I’m delighted to announce the Queensland finalists for the 2017 RIRDC Rural Women’s Award,” Minister Byrne said.

Two Mareeba women are among a trio vying for the prestigious Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) Rural Women’s Award. Tracey Beikoff, founder and chief executive officer of Rescue Swag, and Jessica Fealy, an accounting and communications business owner, both from Mareeba, have been named finalists with Jacqui Wilson-Smith, co-founder and chair of the Food and Agribusiness Network and Global Innovations Manager at McCormick, Eerwah Vale.
