River City Labs to host first RiverPitch for early stage innovation

RiverPitch, Australia’s leading bi-annual pitching event for start-ups, will for the first time focus on early stage innovation companies in line with a new tax program by the federal government. RiverPitch ESIC will be held on 19 October, 2016 and has been specifically designed for early stage investors and start-ups looking to benefit from the government’s 20 per cent tax offset for investing in innovative companies.

Over the course of 54 hours, participants pitch an idea, build a team, road-test the idea with potential customers by getting out of the building and talking to people, change the idea to reflect the reality of things and then pitch it to judges.
